Chapter 8 Device Feature
8.1 Global Shutter
For device that supports global shutter, its exposure starts and ends in each line
simultaneously. After the exposure, data readout starts line by line. All pixels expose at the
same time, then readout at different time.

8.2 Rolling Shutter
For device that supports rolling shutter, as soon as the exposure ends, the data readout
starts simultaneously. After the whole action, the rest of rows start to expose and read out
one by one. All pixels expose at the same time, then readout at different time.
