Without affecting image quality, this function allows the device to compress data before

transmitting to the external devices, and lower the usage of bandwidth.

Steps

1. Go to Image Format Control → Image Compression Mode.

2. Select HB as Image Compression Mode.

3. Select Compression or Burst as High Bandwidth Mode according to actual demands.

Note

Compression only compresses the image data, while Burst compresses the image data

and increases the frame rate.

4. (Optional) Vew the image compression mode’s related parameters like HB Abnormal

Monitor and HB Version in the Device Control attribute.

● HB abnormal monitor is used to monitor image stream condition. If the size of

compressed image is larger than that of raw image under HB function, this parameter

will increase. When this parameter increases rapidly, it is recommended to disable the

image compression mode.

● HB version refers to the version of this function.
