(2) Blue smoke from the diesel engine is usually caused by long-time running of diesel
engine and gradual burning of oil. With the blue smoke becoming dense, the oil
burning situation is worsened, so maintenance of the diesel engine shall be
considered. Sometimes water is mixed in the fuel, or water permeates into the
combustion chamber, causing combustion change, and the diesel engine will emit light
blue smoke.
