• The top color in a two-color gradient will automatically be

printed using overprinting.

• When color trapping is used, the Overprint setting is

automatically assigned to the topmost color trapped objects.

• The top color of a Duotone/Spectratone color is automatically

set to use overprinting.

Setting Objects to be Output Using Overprinting

Do one of the following:

• From the Arrange menu, select Overprint, then Overprint.

• On the Fill tab of the Fill/Stroke Editor, check Overprint.

Turning Off Overprinting for Objects

Do one of the following:

• From the Arrange menu, select Overprint, then Release

Overprint.

• On the Fill tab of the Fill/Stroke Editor, make sure that

Overprint is not checked.
