Tool for Managing Device documentation
Device configuration tools could modify parameters to configure the device, it support
Ethernet and serial port these two connections. In addition, the tool can analyze or restore records
witch is backed up by the SD card.
Go to “Reader machine” page,Open the tool,you can connect the device to choose the
appropriate means of communication, if you choose Ethernet, enter its IP address, port, default is
4370, if the device communication with the password, you need to enter a password. Click
“connect” button then you can query and get some configuration parameters of the device such as
baudrate, RS485 addresses, fingerprint algorithm version, communication password, fill in new
value and click “set option” button the parameters can be set to the desired value (Note: The
RS485 address range 1 to 254); when connecting through the serial port connection, you need
input the current RS485 address of the device, select the baudrate, port number then you can be
conducted a similar operation.
Go to “Access Control” page,you can modify the Baudrate of the access control.
When you want to analyze and store the records witch is backed up by the SD card, select the
path of the log file firstly, click the “process and save” button to process the data ,witch will be
saved to a Excel file, the Excel file with the generated log files placed in the same directory .
When the database data is deleted or some other unforeseen circumstances, you can use the
log file witch is backed up by the SD card restore to the database. First select the log file path, fill
out the database information, test the database to make sure connection is successful, then you can
click the “Start Restore” button to restore records.
