It also presents last minute information that did not make it into the manuals or on-line help. The information found in this file overrides your formally documented material. Contents 1. Matrox Odyssey with MIL. 1.1 Last minute information for Matrox Odyssey. 2. Matrox Odyssey with ActiveMIL. 3. Matrox Odyssey Installation and Hardware Reference manual. 3.1 Errors and omissions. 4. Matrox Odyssey Kernel Memory 5. Known bugs. 1. Matrox Odyssey with MIL. 1.1 Last minute information for Matrox Odyssey. - For a list of supported Mil functions accelerated by the pixel-accelerator (PA) see OdysseyPA.txt. - MdigControl()/MdigInquire(): - The following controls/inquires are not yet supported: M_GRAB_FIELD_NUM, M_GRAB_WINDOW_RANGE, M_CAMERA_PRESENT. - MdigHookFunction(): - The following hooks are not supported: M_GRAB_FIELD_END, M_GRAB_FIELD_END_ODD, M_GRAB_FIELD_END_EVEN. - The following hooks are only supported on the analog grab module (on the Odyssey XA): M_FRAME_START, M_FIELD_START, M_FIELD_START_ODD, M_FIELD_START_EVEN. - The following hooks are only supported during continuous grab: M_GRAB_FRAME_START and M_GRAB_FRAME_END. - MdigLut(): - This feature is not yet fully implemented.. 2. Matrox Odyssey with ActiveMIL. - All the above information also applies to ActiveMIL. 3. Matrox Odyssey Installation and Hardware Reference manual. 3.1 Errors and omissions. - Before the synchronization and control signals table in the "Matrox Odyssey XA acquisition section and the Analog module" section of the "Frame grabbers" chapter, it states that TTL/LVDS signals can be set individually to either TTL or LVDS. This is incorrect. You can TTL/LVDS signals in pairs to either TTL or LVDS. 4. Matrox Odyssey Kernel Memory When the Kernel Memory threshold exceeds 90%, a warning appears informing you to increase the free heap memory size. Occasionaly, an Odyssey Stop screen may appear for the same reason. How to increase the kernel memory size with MILCONFIG. - Start MILCONFIG. - Select the Odyssey tab. - Click the 'OdcCfg' button. - Select the "View Flash" option from the "Flash Configuration" menu. - Select the "Software" tab. - Increase the size in the "Minimum Free Heap" field and then click on the OK button. - Restart or refresh the OdcMonitor application. 5. Known bugs - Multiple processes the same board. - This feature is not yet supported.
