The information found in this file overrides your formally documented material. Contents 1. Matrox Helios with MIL. 1.1 Limitation and particularities. 1.2 Last minute information. 2. Matrox Helios with ActiveMIL. 3. Matrox Helios Installation and Hardware Reference manual. 3.1 Errors and omissions. 4. Known bugs. 1. Matrox Helios with MIL. 1.1 Limitations and particularities. - For a lists of supported MIL functions accelerated by the pixel-accelerator (PA) see HeliosPA.txt. - MdigChannel(): - Changing the synchronisation channel with M_CHn+M_SYNC is not yet supported. - MdigControl()/MdigInquire(): - The following controls/inquires are not yet supported when grabbing into an on-board buffer: M_GRAB_DIRECTION_X/Y, M_SOURCE_SIZE_X/Y, M_SOURCE_OFFSET_X/Y. 1.2 Last minute information. - Msys...() additions: - MsysControl(M_UART_FREE+M_UART_NB(M_DEVn)): - This stops MIL UART operations and frees UART ressources used by MIL. 2. Matrox Helios with ActiveMIL. - All the above information also applies to ActiveMIL. 3. Matrox Helios Installation and Hardware Reference manual. 3.1 Errors and omissions. - Before the synchronization and control signals table in the "Matrox Helios XA acquisition section" section of the "Matrox Helios hardware reference" chapter, it states that TTL/LVDS signals can be set individually to either TTL or LVDS. This is incorrect. You can set TTL/LVDS signals in pairs to either TTL or LVDS. 4. Known bugs. - When grabbing from a line-scan camera, with no frame trigger, an error message might appear (for example, "Function MdigGrab()... Synchronization lost (Time out)" or "Error in MdigProcess()... the command has been aborted"). To resolve this issue, you must update your Matrox Helios firmware.
