The Hammered texture produces a pattern of cells that are each surrounded by a raised rim. In its undistorted form it resembles a mosaic or leaded glass pattern. Distortion can produce a beaten metal appearance. Parameters : Position : Position of the texture. Scale : The texture is scaled by this value. Use these parameters to scale or stretch the texture in one or more directions. Jitter : This is the noise that distorts the basic pattern. Roughness : This is the overall roughness or "grit" that is added to the texture. Rim Radius : This parameter specifies one half the width of the ''bars'' that separate the adjacent cells. Rim Sharpness : The rim around the cells can be made very subtle or made to stand out in high relief compared to the cell surface. Notes : Without distortion this texture has a very geometric but irregular appearance. Interesting effects can be achieved by making the rim width obscure the cells. More jitter and roughness add naturalistic randomness.
