Bamboo texture simulates the look of bamboo stalks placed side by side. The size of the stalks, along with parameters that control smoothness and uniformity of the bamboo are provided. Parameters: Position : Position of the texture. You can adjust how the bamboo stalks will line up with the relief you are modifying. Scale : The texture is scaled by this value. Use these parameters to scale or stretch the texture in one or more directions. Power : This parameter has a small effect on how the other parameters affect the look of the texture. Section Width : This changes the width of the individual bamboo stalks in the texture. Segment Height : This changes the height of the sections along the stalk, moving the joints farther apart or closer together. Gap : This allows for a gap in between the individual bamboo stalks. Meander : This parameter will introduce variation in the vertical straightness of the bamboo stalks. Larger values can cause significant distortion in the stalks. Meander Size : This parameter controls the vertical size of the meander. As this value increases, the meander becomes smoother waves rather than more of a roughness along the edges of the stalks. Joint Bump : This sets the relative height of the joints in the bamboo stalks. Ridge Bump : This sets the height of the longitudinal bumps along the bamboo stalks. With a value of 0.0 the stalks are smooth, and then as this value increases they become rougher. Half Round : If this value is selected, the bamboo stalks look like a full half of a stalk. When it is not selected, the stalks appear more like quarter sections of the stalks.
