CIX.ini README NOTES ============================= Driver creates Biesse CIX format directly ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The optional ini file CIX.ini has these parameters: ZSafetyCheck If present, Z depths are limited in this way (default to 2 if no value set) : Routing Z Safety Check, don't allow z depth < -ZSafetyCheck Drilling Z Safety Check, don't allow z depth > (ZsafetyCheck + material.thickness) Drilling No gang drilling optimisation is done by the CIX driver as it is done at CNC by bSolid or BiesseWorks at runtime Therefore each drill operation is added as a single drill Each drill on the CNC is added to the tool changer, Has Drill Function is checked but Has drill bank is unchecked The CIX driver has a way of controlling drill type output: The drill type selection can be overridden by the use of pecklift as a flag. A value of 0 selects BiesseWorks:NORMALE bSolid:Normal - DEFAULT BEHAVIOUR - standard drill bit for blind drilling A value of 1 selects BiesseWorks:LANCIA bSolid:Flat Bit - through drill bit for through drilling A value of 2 selects BiesseWorks:SVASATA - bSolid:Countersunk - Countersunk drill bit A value of 3 selects BiesseWorks:NORMALEG - bSolid:NORMALEG - large standard drill bit for blind drilling A value of 4 selects BiesseWorks:NORMALE bSolid:Normal If depth < board.thickness Else BiesseWorks:LANCIA bSolid:Flat Bit - Through bit selected Router & Drill Speeds Machining speeds are read from the Global settings or from the strategy 'RSP' Biesse parameter Rotation speed rpm -> Spindle rpm EnRoute/EzyNest 'WSP' Biesse Work speed -> Feed Rate in mm/min EnRoute/EzyNest Routing: PLUNGE SPEED IN THE BOARD - plunge rate in mm/min - BiesseWorks:Lowering speed, speed with which the tool moves from the surface of the piece to the position where the machining operation begins Drilling: PLUNGE SPEED IN THE BOARD - plunge rate in mm/min - BiesseWorks:feed work speed mm/min, speed with which the tool makes the bore
