11.1 Absolute encoder use

11.1.1 Functional description

Using a servo motor with an absolute encoder, an absolute value detection system can be constructed by a host

device. By means of the absolute value detection system, it is no longer necessary to perform the home point reset

operation every time the power supply is turned on. This function reads the number of turns and position data of

absolute encoder based on MODBUS communication, and the upper device performs processing control to realize

the related functions of absolute encoder.
