OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
Electrospindle can have optional accessory "electrospindle stop" sensor S3
For each rotation, "electrospindle stop" sensor will output two "ON" and "two" OFF "pulse; at high speed, it will
remain" ON".
See section 5.3.4 for electrical specifications of this sensor.
See section 10.2.3 for installation and calibration of sensors to ensure that the output meets the
requirements
Ignore the output of S3 in the process of
changing the tool.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
BEFORE STARTING WORK ON THE ELECTROSPINDLE, READ AND
IMPLEMENT ALL THE WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS RELATED TO
SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE.
PROBLEMS
The electrospindle
does not rotate
CAUSES
No power supply:
The tool-holder is not inserted:
The tool-holder is not inserted
correctly:
The thermal protective device has
triggered:
SOLUTIONS
Check for mains voltage;
Check the connectors;
Check the integrity and continuity of
the electric connections.
Insert a tool-holder.
See the item "The tool-holder is not
locked" below.
Wait for the electrospindle to cool
down: the thermal protective device is
reset automatically.
If the thermal protective device trips
frequently, consult the item "The
electrospindle overheats" further on in
this same chapter.
